I love the shaggy doggy and the little face. Still loving your artistic style! You also have such a way with words. I'm going to take a page from your book (your blog post) and have a nice cup of tea. I am so tired after work today. I think I'll put my feet up and watch the latest installment of Downton Abbey. Then a hot shower and some Bible reading. I was going to draw but I'm just too pooped out!

Hi LIsa! Aw, I am so glad you liked that shaggy dog! I have not had my tea. I had to make a stop at the store after school and by the time I got home I was VERY tired and crabby. Sigh. Now after reading your post, I shall have that pot of tea after all. I hope your rest tonight fuels you and that tomorrow is a cheerful day.
ReplyDeleteLisa, if I didn't know better, I'd say snake. But since that's impossible in winter, it's a mystery. Like you, I am weary of making quick sketches or drawings or forcing myself to paint. There are so many things a new widow has to attend to, as you know. I don't have the nearby adept older children who could handle the financial and other things for me. Also, there are a lot of boxes, closets, and drawers full of "stuff" that need to be sorted and properly disposed of. But I'm trying to hang in there and draw the 29.
