I know. My bike is inside the house. Well, it was raining outside and I wanted to have it inside where I could look it over. I need to find a wrench to adjust the seat, then I'll go for a test run. Maybe tomorrow, if the weather cooperates.
Well, I'm tired after an early shift at work, but I wanted to introduce my new bike. (This isn't actually the same bike I saw in the ad. That was a Huffy; mine is a Schwinn. How do you like the rack on the back? A nice place to strap my schoolbooks. Ha!)
Blessings on your evening.
May your house be filled with God's shalom. :)
What an adorable bike. You'll look good together! And, I'd keep it inside if I were you. :) It needs looking at.
ReplyDeleteYay! We're twins! Your bike is just like mine! I wish we could ride together! I'll take mine out for a spin today and think of you.
ReplyDeleteI was so tired yesterday, but today I feel ready. I shall say good bye to school, students, and teacher friends and start my summer. I'll let you know how it goes. I can't wait to start making some Pom Pom art!
Pistacio is a nice name for this bike!
ReplyDeletewhat a pretty bike!! i have a blue "coaster" bike sort of like this one. Only i have a basket instead of a rack on the back.
ReplyDeleteI used to ride all the time. Now it sits in the garage more than it's out :(
Lovely color on your bike, Lisa! I'd love to have another bike. Mine has hung from hooks overhead in the garage for 15 or so years. I really, really want an old fashioned one gear type coaster bike like from the 40s. I think they have another name now, maybe a beach bike??? I'm always afraid the gears on these 10+ speed things will hang up and throw me off. I may look into getting my bike reconditioned.
ReplyDeleteIn my experience with my two recent bikes, the Schwinn will be better than a Huffy, so good for you! She's beautiful :) Will you get a basket for the front? So useful.
