I know, I know, it's still Tuesday! But I caught my self actually DOING SOMETHING at my workdesk and I thought, "Hey! I'd better get a photo of this!"
We had company for a few days and the artistic bug just hasn't been biting much since they left. But inspiration started flowing again this morning, so I jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth and sat down to do this little bit of painting and drawing. (before breakfast even)
I thought I'd like to do something different than my usual squares of watercolor in my scripture journal, so I painted this background and I will write over it. It's supposed to be the Garden of Eden. Well, at least it gives the impression I hope! I'd like to do more of this type of thing or at least have some variety in my backgrounds.
I got very inspired by the Diva's Weekly Challenge this week. We're doing a tangle called auraknot and it's lots of fun. My son asked me to do a zentangle to decorate a CD cover for a song he plans to record. (Isn't he a nice son?) I'm fiddling around with some ideas, so that's what you see on my slant-top desk...
Glad to be back after missing last week! To see more creative workdesks around the world hop on over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join the fun of snooping into other's workspaces! :D
Shalom!
Oh, you ARE being such a good working artist this summer, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteAlways good to take a pic when we are actually doing something. Even better when the children ask for your creative talent help. I am sure your ideas will be brilliant.
