WOYWW! (I forgot!!!)

Feel like peeping or creeping on other people's desks? Julia at The Stamping Ground makes it not only legal, but a desirable human trait! Come join me!

Actually, this is what my desk looked like on Wednesday...not much going on.

So this morning I kicked into gear; day off ya know. So this is what my slant-top desk looks like.

I worked on my first Creative Classroom assignment. I won this class through the Sketchbook Challenge. My finished project was this "Have a Sunny Day" card. We were supposed to work on blending with colored pencil. I'm not an ATC or stamper person, so I worked with what I had including a pencil illustration I found in an old children's magazine.

Then I worked on this zentangle inspired art for the Diva's Challenge. It was supposed to be made using the Olympic logo. Don't know why I went with all organic inspired tangles, but that's where it went! :D

And some close-ups just for artsyness's sake...

It's been a fun day of drawing and coloring! Shortly I'll have to get out and do some weeding in the garden.

Enjoy YOUR day!
Shalom.

  1. I LOVE your sunny day card! I love your drawings very much. I should weed, too. It's way too hot. I'm a bad weed picker. I don't pick clean.
I hope you are doing well, good friend.

    1. I didn't get to much weeding either. Watered a few little trees and pulled a few weeds. I realized that I have the 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. shift tomorrow!! Gotta get to bed! Hope you're doing well, too, dear! :)

  2. I always love peeping and creeping around other people's studios...makes me realize I need to get my rear in gear and start creating :)
That sunny day card is wonderful! It is definately sunny here....I've holed myself indoors with the a/c on for once!

Great excuse to peep and creep some more :)
    Take care!

  4. I always enlarge everything on everyone's sight so I can see their wonderful designs in all their intricacy. Both your projects turned out FAB! I like the artwork done in the old books, I may try that, too. You sure have a nice sunny window with a view by your studio table.

  7. A very pretty, colorful interpretation of the challenge! Well done! And I'm jealous of your desk--mine is the kitchen table and I have to scoot everything off at the end of play time... =0)
