I miss being able to share grandkid pictures on here, but I haven't yet figured out how to copy them and transfer them here. Micah posted a picture of Thatcher (age 17 months) standing on the living room window sill looking out the big picture window. He climbed up the couch to get there. She's now rearranging the furniture!
Paris the pony has finally joined her larger friend, Dachessa, out in the pasture. It's taken a long time to get the pasture fence refurbished so it's secure. She's loving it!
I should be out walking but after a day running back and forth to town, I'm pooped out. Hopefully tomorrow! I went to town with Micah to help her with some laundry. She decided to use the laundromat to catch up because her laundry was getting behind. I packed up one hamper and when we got home she said, "Um Mom. That isn't my laundry basket." So, I ran back to town to return the "stolen" basket to the poor lady who had, by that time, gone to Walmart and bought a new one, lol. She was very nice and happy to get it back. Oh well. I needed to return a library book and pick up a couple of things at Walmart anyway!
I've potted up some annuals to decorate my window seat. Some of these will go outside once the weather warms up, but most of them will stay here. Mostly petunias, but also a primrose, teddy bear sunflowers, mimulus and a geranium.
Now on to Somewhere Safe with Somebody Good by the same author. That's sort of the end of the Father Tim books, so I'll go on to other things. She has written more books, but I think I'll take a break. So many books, so little time!

ReplyDeleteToo bad your weather has been so chilly. Ours has been hot for days but this evening just like that it turned cold and now it's raining. Yesterday ( Mothers Day, we sat outside in the shade ( it was very hot) and tried to keep a bit of distance between us but I don't think we succeeded very well. It had been so long since all 5 kids were here...Christmas was the last time.
I hope your plants thrive. They look so cheery on the window sill.
Dear Lisa, the horses have a wonderful place! Now they can be friends! The sun is fine. Here also the nights are cold, we call these days "The holy ice-men". Their names are Pankratius, Servatius, Bonifazius and Sophie. Their days are on 12,13,14.15.May. Every year they come good in time. Before these days we should not plant some plants as petunia outside. And we should not shear sheep!
