The Pirate Princess...

Do you like Hazel's tutu and tiara?  All day long she's been saying "Aye, aye, Captain!" when Micah talks to her. She's a real character. ;)

Audrey is modeling one of the wreaths made of paper cut out in the shape of her hands. Micah is doing a craft with Audrey and Hazel every day for the 12 days of Christmas. She's a creative mom!

I'm excited that I not only have this weekend off, but I also get Christmas Eve and Christmas day off! Woo hoo!

I'm exploring the world of crocheting/knitting. I've got yarn and a crochet hook. I've found what looks like a good video series to help me. We'll see what develops. I'll post a couple of videos below so you can see what I'm attempting. I know I'm WAAAAAY behind most of you with this, and I don't imagine I'll be as devoted as some, but it looks like fun. :)

Shalom, y'all!

  1. You're creativity amazes me...nothing stops you. I'm inspired continually by your work. I can make crocheted (is that a word?) dishcloths, but have a daughter who's done all sorts of things, and self-taught.

And adore your grandbabies. They are precious. :)

some of my co-workers have done the arm knitting. I'm not so sure about that! I think I'll stick with knitting needles! can't wait to see what you make with your yarn!

    1. Well, now that you're expecting to see results I'll just have to carry through! Thanks for the accountability factor, lol! :) The few times I've knitted I always pulled the stitches too tight and had a hard time sliding the knitting needles through. I just have to learn to loosen up, I guess! :)
