Well, Mags...

...if you must know, I watched The Railway Children! :)

If you read my last post, this is one of the British movies I found through the Anglotopia website. I look forward to many more!

We're pressing onward with putting my house on the market. At this point I will be relieved when the whole process is over and I've found a more permanent place to live. I don't like this feeling of being in a holding pattern aka limbo. I think it's time to move on and let go. This little farm was a wonderful place for our children to run free and explore; to play and grow. But now that they're all grown and going on with their lives I feel like I should do the same. I'm praying that someone will come along who can really see the potential in this place.

My sketchbook is still empty. I must make that first mark!!
Too tired right now...

Seeing lots of tornado alerts on TV. Hope you are all safe and sound in your homes.

Shalom. :)

  3. It's unsettling to be in that uncertain sort of situation. We've moved many times and it doesn't get easier.I hope for a quick sale to really nice people who will love your place.

  4. I'll have to check out the Railway Children ... now I'm curious!

Good luck selling your home. I know it's hard. I lived in my old house for 18 years. I never thought I would leave but I did and now love my new home just as much!

  5. Dear Lisa, I wish you to find a person or family in your sense to live in your house happy and blessed. And for you I pray you to find a good and beautiful new place to live your faithful life.

The empty pages of your drawing-book include so many possibilities - this is always an adventure. Once I learned of an old painter: "Just begin with fun and encouraged!"

  6. I read The Railway Children to our children and thought it very good - I still recommend it. Had you read the book or did you only see the movie? Maybe I will find out the answer to that question, and whether the movie is as good, by reading more of your blog posts!

  7. It is so hard to be in temporary housing -- sigh!! I know. I'll be relieved when we both have transitioned into our new stage of life :) Good luck on your sale! I hope you find just the right buyer.
I LOVE The Railway Children. We own the movie, and I watch it often. The music, the story, the setting -- it all combines for a perfect viewing.
