Grandparents' Day #1

On Tuesday I visited Hazel's first grade class. That's me in the red buffalo check flannel shirt. The lady taking the photos is Hazel's other Grammy Lisa. They both love making funny faces. She's the "fun" grandma. (Younger, too!) Hazel read to us and made some art for us. We got to participate in gym class, which involved a parachute and some crawling around on the floor. Needless to say, there were some sore muscles the next day.
I'll post those pictures below with a few autumn trees. The leaves are really raining down today. The trees will soon be bare.
Love y'all! Thanks for visiting!

  2. Oh that Hazel! She sure can make faces.
If I got down on the floor and crawled around I would definitely not be able to get up again. Believe me, it has happened.

  3. What a fine friendship! The shirt is wonderful and cozy and fits perfect to you! The trees here in Bavaria are golden, too, and the leaves fall now, too.

Many greetings to wonderful and always young Grandma Lisa and friends from Dori

  6. Look at those gorgeous birch trees! Our leaves are still green, but that tired brown/green when summer is long past.
Looks like a fun day at school!
