Eight days in a row of working by the time I get a day off on Thursday! Fortunately, I only worked 2 hours yesterday and 2 today. My fellow worker and friend, Barb, lost her mom last week and she had to take some time off, so I'm glad to fill in a bit.
I took the curtains down and washed them. I'm doing the last of them right now. Spring cleaning!
I just wanted to pop in and say hello. Still waiting on baby Adele. Micah said this is officially the longest pregnancy she's had. Well, at least we have a record! I'm glad Adele has taken her time. She is now fully equipped for her new life!
Enjoy spring everyone!
Shalom!
Cute bird.. ( is it a Blackbird?). Looks like it's singing a cheerful song.
ReplyDeleteI think I used a photo of a rook for my model. This is an old painting I came across. :)
DeleteGood vibrations full of good hope in lLsa-house and aroubnd!
ReplyDeleteThe blackbird-painting is so full of spring-light and friendly feelings.
Blessings for the waiting parents and sweet grandma of little Adele and for Adele!
Beautiful bird! Well done. Put your feet up when you can!
ReplyDeleteTell the bird to sing a bit louder as it is blummin' perishing over here with no sign of spring yet.
ReplyDeleteYou should write a story about your garden bird! Maybe he could dole out advice like, "If you plant sunflowers by cucumbers, the cucumbers will be sweeter!"
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking I sent this painting to you a long time ago. Am I right? I just happened to have a copy on my computer! :)
DeleteMaybe Adele is making her appearance as I type - I hope so! God bless the baby, the mom, the grandma, and all the family as you receive a new member!
ReplyDeleteAll four of my babies were late -- weeks late! I'm catching up on your posts, so hopefully by the time I get to most recent one ... she's be there :) Glad you got a day off at last!
