My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter have been staying with us for a while, but they're planning to move into their new place next week. At that point I'll take over one of the bedrooms at the far end of the house from the living room. I will also have a much larger desk! I look forward to that, but I kind of enjoyed this setup today. With the window open I can hear birds and crickets chirping and feel a nice breeze.
So, no art taking place, though I did mail off a package to my art buddy today! I won't post pics of what I sent her until she receives it.
One of the things I did for Microbiology class was to write an introduction on the message board. We were supposed to list three of our favorite songs, among other things. Here is one of them. Hope you enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteHa Ha i've never thought to work in the bathroom , but if that works for you & you get your studying done then go for it. happy crafting jill #51
ReplyDeleteYou must have an enormous bathroom to be able to have a chair and all in. If I stretch my arms out in mine I touch walls anywhich way I turn. I have always wanted a big bathroom! Are you studying micro? UGH! I am so glad I graduated in 2010. I was an RN for 35 years and decided to get my degree and then I retired! Have a great week. Thanks for sharing! Vickie #67
ReplyDeleteI like that Irish whistle!
ReplyDeleteGood girl, studying and all!
Your house is getting quieter next week! You'll miss the happy sounds, but it's good timing for your studies.
You're so inspiring! Thank you for attending to me, friend! (BIG HUG!)
The places us crafter's craft in, fair play, needs must. Take care Zo xx 118

DeleteThat made me smile, it reminded me of my days in res as a student. I used to study in the bathroom too, because my roommate loved to party and there was never any peace in our room.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

;)
DeleteWell good for you, if ever an excuse not to study was presented, 'no room' would be a good one, and the bathroom's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteCool way to organise your study space, how clever.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from WOYWW.

Now that is unique a bathroom workstation.
ReplyDeleteSandra @20
I was going to say "don't your books get a bit wet" until I realised you didn't mean you were actually in the bath. That has to be a unique place to work!!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck with it all.

I think that's the first bathroom ever featured on WOYWW - but needs must, eh??
ReplyDeleteI am full of admiration for you going back to a nursing course..don't think I could do it now, too old and grumpy!! Hope all the studying goes well!
Hugs, LLJ '71 xx
Sometimes it's just easier to get away from the distractions, huh? I find I get more studying done when I'm on campus - something about all those teachers who walk by, hoping to find students studying, that keeps you on track :-) Just make sure not to drop the computer in any of the water receptacles...
ReplyDeleteSo kind of you to share your house, and making the best out of the bathroom! I love that you can hear birds and such. I was at my friend's today, helping her clean and organize her dining room, and when I used her bathroom, I could hear the goats and ducks out back bleating and quacking away! Very fun!
