Thanks, Pom!

Your letter was such an encouragement that I had to put it in a place of prominence!

I love the shaggy doggy and the little face. Still loving your artistic style! You also have such a way with words. I'm going to take a page from your book (your blog post) and have a nice cup of tea. I am so tired after work today. I think I'll put my feet up and watch the latest installment of Downton Abbey. Then a hot shower and some Bible reading. I was going to draw but I'm just too pooped out!

Here's a random shot from my camera. I looked out the window the other morning and wondered what kind of critter might have made that little zigzag trail in the middle of the photo. (You may have to click on it to make it bigger.) Any ideas?

An evening filled with shalom to all who stop by here! :)

  1. Hi LIsa! Aw, I am so glad you liked that shaggy dog! I have not had my tea. I had to make a stop at the store after school and by the time I got home I was VERY tired and crabby. Sigh. Now after reading your post, I shall have that pot of tea after all. I hope your rest tonight fuels you and that tomorrow is a cheerful day.

  2. Lisa, if I didn't know better, I'd say snake. But since that's impossible in winter, it's a mystery. Like you, I am weary of making quick sketches or drawings or forcing myself to paint. There are so many things a new widow has to attend to, as you know. I don't have the nearby adept older children who could handle the financial and other things for me. Also, there are a lot of boxes, closets, and drawers full of "stuff" that need to be sorted and properly disposed of. But I'm trying to hang in there and draw the 29.
