29 Faces-Day 6

I think I'll do one more from a picture book and maybe tomorrow try a real person again! (I think these children's books illustrations are my favorite things to copy!)

I couldn't stop with just his face. I love the dark woods in the background! You might recognize Robin Hood from "Each, Peach, Pear, Plum" by Janet Ahlberg. One of my fave illustrators!

Everyone have fun drawing faces for the "29 Face Challenge"!

Shalom!

  5. What a lovely delicate drawing. We had some of Ahlberg's original work on display at the museum recently. From tiny thumbnail skethes through to the finished watercolours. She is a great loss to children's book illustration.
