WOYWW!!

I've been doing a lot of messing about with a piece of zentangled inspired art for The Diva's Weekly Challenge and a watercolor painting of a rose for the Rookie Painter Challenge.

Look at my computer monitor. Is that crazy or what? It's a reflection! Anyway, here I'm working on the Calvary zentangle. I have the requisite jar of water teetering perilously close to my computer. Oh no! All went well...so far. I still have to empty the jar. See my badge?

Here are close-ups of the two projects I finished today:

Here's a long range view of my space:

You really can make do with very little space and a few art supplies!

Well, I'm babysitting granddaughter Audrey and she's getting into something.

Enjoy visiting, everyone! To join the snooping go to the Stamping Ground blog and join the fun!

Shalom!

  3. fantastic work Lisa, and yes it isn't until we look at the images that we realise how many risks we take with water pots, Did Audrey get down the rabbit hole? they are so funny aren't they?

    1. Audrey still hasn't figured out how to get into the heating vent. Rabbit hole sounds more interesting, though! :) She loves when the hot air blows out and she, of course, wants to TASTE it! Argghh!

  8. Seriously liquid and computers are not a good combination, trust me on that one, I have had a few accidents. Love the grandaughter spying down the heating vent, it's amazing what they find to play with.

  14. The grandbaby is so cute. She's probably found something fascinating down the grill. I mean, really, when was the last time you took time to admire the handiwork of the air vent? ;-) I love how babies can get so engrossed in the mundane. I am very impressed with your small space. I know you are right that you can make do with few supplies and a small area. I'll be the first to admit that I'm greedy and I want it all. Or at least most of it. Sometimes I miss the few items to play with days. I feel I was more creative then (making do with what I had). But then I look at all I have and think that I'm quite pleased with it. Love your zentangle piece--just stunning! Beautiful rose, too.

  21. What lovely art work - the zentangle piece is stunning. You may have a small space and not so many supplies to work with but that is one posh chair! That would certainly make me want to sit down and create! How comfy!!!
Thanks for popping by and I hope you have a great week.

  24. I have to agree about the space. I am squashed into a corner of our living room/dining room and it does me. Not saying I wouldn't take the extra space if it was offered mind you but it does me. Your chair looks so squishy and comfortable and I'm in love with your slanted desk. Gorgeous!
