A lazy, painting kind of Saturday...

Nice to have a whole day at home to do all those little homey things I love. I did a little cleaning (very little), a load of laundry, made some healthy meals, and read through a long home loan application. Then I felt like I'd earned some art time!

I'm going to stop saying that I'm going to take a break from ATC's, because I never follow through anyway! LOL. The Bizarre Holiday swaps are getting to be a tradition with me, so I jumped in again. I've finished the first of four cards commemorating weird March holidays. This one is for "I'm In Control Day". This is the first thing that jumped into my mind when I learned of that holiday. Think I watch too much SpongeBob Squarepants with the grandgirls? :)

On the Paper, Paint, Pencils and Pens blog we're drawing things from our kitchen. I decided to show the contents of my fridge. I'm trying to eat healthy things, but you'll notice a tell-tale chunk of Spam in the upper right. I just crave its salty goodness sometimes!
I'm enjoying a large Gaither choir on TBN at the moment. Then I'll fix some supper and maybe do some reading.
Y'all have a great evening and shalom!

  2. Lisa, do you actually say y'all like we do down here in Virginia?!!! You and I had similar Saturdays. I cleaned the bookcases in my bedroom that have remained in situ for 22 years. Lots of dust. I threw out my dh's Japanese lessons and notes, but I kept his book and study guide. I ended up with several bags of papers, which I carefully looked at to make sure there were no old CC#s. I'm sure those accounts are long closed anyway. I enjoyed seeing your delightful sketches. Makes me hungry and it's past dinner time. Have a great new week ahead.
