The challenge on
Inspiration Avenue is to create art featuring a doll. The first doll that sprang to my mind was a colorful Babushka doll. I've always liked these wooden nested dolls. So here is my rendition of a doll I found online.
I will also use this painting for the
Sketchbook Challenge: flowers. I really enjoyed making the flowers on this doll!
Shalom!
Brilliant using the Russian doll, Lisa!

ReplyDeleteThese Russian nesting dolls are favorites of my family. We have several bought in Russia & I even have one decorated with Elvis Presley!
ReplyDeleteLOL! When I was looking online for a model to draw from, I couldn't believe how many different kinds there were! Thanks for stopping by! :)

DeleteTruly a lovely rendition of this week's IA challenge. I first learned about these dolls watching a craft show on TV. What beauty, variety, and ability to nest so perfectly, took me aback. This is one lovely drawing/painting.
ReplyDeleteReally nice rendition of a babushka doll, so joyful and happy! <3
